Meet the Deckers

Meet the Deckers
We are a blessed family! It started out 3 years ago with the addition of Memphis, our crazy Labradoodle. Then, we added Jules in January 2010. Next, our little man made his appearance in May 2011. What fun times are ahead for us!

Halloween 2013

Sophia the First and Thomas!

We had a fall festival at school --

Shook got his first face painting - he wasn't that happy about it!

These games crack me up - they always get up as close as possible!

And, they had a DJ!!

We went to the downtown Franklin Main Street Pumpkinfest.  It was pretty cool - lots of crafty vendors and people dressed up.

She always goes for the biggest face painting sessions!

It was all good until Shook saw the Grim Reaper and Jason!

And school parties to go to!

This Thomas is too cute!

That's a funny crowd - check out Michael!

Jules' class had 3 Ariel's!  This is Sophie - she always wants Jules to go home with her!

And, this is Cole; Jules' best boy friend.

And her BFF Abby.  Abby was very excited to see Shook!  Shook did not reciprocate!

We had a clubhouse pizza party and DeeDee got to go with us!  Of course, by this time we were Merida and Thomas was super tired!  Which was okay because the weather was not cooperating and it did not look good for trick-or-treating.

So, we went to the mall because it was raining and the wind was blowing so hard.  But, it was a MAD HOUSE AND they were giving out the worst candy ever - not even worth this crazy crowd...so we came back home....luckily they had so many other activities that they didn't notice the trick-or-treating part.  Although they did really good with saying "Trick or Treasure" and then saying "Thank-You" - I felt really good about that!

Until next year Halloween!  We had a great one!

Getting Ready for Halloween

The kids got to open their Halloween outfits early!

I think they both really liked them and I think Michael wishes he were 2 again!

We did some pumpkin carving too - not too much but enough for Jules to help and for me to eat the Pumpkin Seeds!

We went to Gentry's Farm and the kids had a blast there too!  I think the corn trough was the most popular event there - all the parents were trying to figure out why and how to get one at home!

I'm not sure if the other parents in line thought their play fighting was cute or if they were scared!

I thought this playground was very clever!  But the 10 year olds whose parents don't exist kept pushing my kids down!

So, we went to corn and discovered that Shook definitely does NOT have a future in hand eye coordination!

And this is pretty much how every weekend in October ended for us - falling asleep eating a cupcake!
