We started it out this year at the pumpkin patch by our house that sells pumpkins for charity. We had some pretty good visitors to go with!
Yep...she wore that to the pumpkin patch! And, to the Disney store afterward! And, nowadays if you tell her to smile, she usually poses in some way. Not quite the reenactment of the first picture that I was going for.
But, they got to be silly!
And get new matching Little Mermaid dresses!
AND, go see Frozen on Ice together (which was really good)!!
Excited!
Elsa and Anna!
They were probably most excited because they scored a lot of loot!
How cute are these two?
Look at these school pictures - so cute!
We are still trying to figure out how she does her pinky fingers like this...
We had some Christmas pictures made at our new favorite Christmas tree farm! This was how Jules was supposed to be dressed....
This is what she ended up in after she saw what the photographer brought! I love it though - I can't wait to see all the rest of them.
Jules has been working on her chores - she is actually pretty decent at folding towels and I didn't even give her any instruction. She gets a $1-$2 per chore and she puts it in her new purse Honey got for her!
She is also really in to helping in the kitchen. She and Shook both love their cooking class at school. So, after we are carved pumpkins, I had her help pick out the pumpkin seeds so we could roast them. She stayed at it for a long time and got most of them out!
We also hit up Lucky Ladd Farms again this year but it had been raining almost everyday so we got pretty muddy. We had some good friends come along with us for that too!
I love his hair in this next action photo!
Jules walked around with this goat forever! She talked and talked to it!
Shook's been doing a good bit of this lately because he can't behave at school! He has 2 friends that get him in a lot of trouble and on this particular day, he had to go to the 'Principal's office' as Jules called it. Since he got in big trouble, he has been doing a lot better!
We also went to Ghouls at Grassmere (Zoo)! Elsa and Jake and the Neverland Pirate.
We went to our school Festival as Elsa and Olaf! Which everyone thought was a hoot!
Here are our pumpkins we did!
We also had to start at a new school because Jules' pre-K teacher left and we have just not had that great experience with turnover and the school finding good replacements timely. It was too pivotal to wait and see what they came up with so we visited the new school down the road. Back in May, pretty much every kid that was in Shook's class left and went to this school. We contemplated leaving but we loved Jules' teacher so we decided to stay. After she announced she was leaving, we decided to tour and we fell in love with the place!!! It was exactly what we were looking for when we moved here - only it did not exist until this past May. I wish that we had not waited this long but we did have a great experience up through Ms. Kim leaving. So, we started today and there are no uniforms!! And, Shook has Ms. Kim!!! I'm excited to see how it is going to be.
The facility is amazing compared to our old school here. Look at this aquarium! They have about 3 of them in the school.
Next up - school parties, trick or treating and a family Halloween party!!
