Meet the Deckers

Meet the Deckers
We are a blessed family! It started out 3 years ago with the addition of Memphis, our crazy Labradoodle. Then, we added Jules in January 2010. Next, our little man made his appearance in May 2011. What fun times are ahead for us!

Shook is About to Be 4!

PIRATE PARTY!!!!  So fun to plan.  We had to have it a little early this year since we will be on a DISNEY CRUISE!

These invites were fun to make - did that while we were out a week for snow!

My little pirates.  Shook was cracking me up that morning saying "Show yourself" like a pirate would.  Too much tv!

This little blue eyed cutie definitely has my heart!

He, Jules and Honey played a lot before the party started.  The dropped off the pirate ship bounce house at 7:30 AM!

We got water guns and balls at the last minute since Jules and Shook have been obsessed with water guns and the kids had a great time with them.  We could have totally had a water gun party and gotten off for about 50 bucks - that is how much they loved them.

They especially liked getting the adults!

Jake came and read a book about a treasure hunt.

Shook and his BFF from his old school.  They still love each other!

After the book, everyone got their pirate gear on and headed out for their own treasure hunt!

Down to the mailbox to get their gold doubloons, to the Plank to get their gold bars, to the sandbox to get their pixie dust and to the front door to dig for their jewels.

I think they all had a blast.  When we dropped Shook off on Monday, the kids were already telling their teacher about the "pirate ship, the water guns and THE CHICKEN NUGGETS".  Funny what appeals most to them!

Shook got a ton of loot from his friends too - lots of good presents!

She's 5!

And beautiful!  I had these photos taken awhile back to use on her birthday invites for a tea party that she already knew she wanted.  I love them.

I thought I would be super sad but she's already lost her 2 bottom teeth which made me really sad.  We also visited the doctor for her check up and she is the 90% for her height - 44.5" and 75% in weight - 44 lbs.  It is definitely hard to believe that it has been 5 years since this day!

Here are a few of my favs - we had a blast with the glitter:

So, we had a stroke of bad luck over the Holiday but that did not stop Jules from wanting to go forward with her party.  It was a lot to get ready and there were a lot more kids that came that I ever envisioned but we made it!  And, it was a lot of fun!  I think Jules was so happy but I also think that we was like "WHAAA" because there were so many people wanting attention from her.  I'm thinking next year that she and I both will be ready for something a lot less CRAZY!

The Tea Party Scene!
Fashion Runway and Karaoke - That pink curtain was down before you could sneeze!

Take home gifts!

Everyone dressed up!

Getting ready!

We made candy necklaces!

This goes into my top 5 picture ranking!

This girl can get down!

My beautiful Mommy!

Also in my top 5 - She got caught sneaking a peek!

Ooops!

Quite possibly #1 best pic!
Her BFFs!  And, her 3rd costume change.

Just a few of the party goers that could be herded!

Love it!

Never too little to sing!

She rules the world!

That morning/night before, it snowed!!

After the party, a big group of us went to see Paddington because Jules had wanted to see it so bad from the first time she saw the preview.  It was a super cute movie.  The kids were sufficiently worn out and so was I!!
